The Connecticut Star Party (CSP), held in Colebrook, Connecticut, has been an annual event since 1991.  Sponsored by the Astronomical Society of New Haven (ASNH), the star party takes place on a private campground in the southern Berkshires. At an elevation of 1400' and miles away from the nearest town, this site offers some of the darkest skies in southern New England.
